Read the Bible started as a personal project, dedicated to providing free, voluntary, and non-profit access to the Holy Bible to all peoples of all languages.
The project was born from the union of three main motivations. First, as a web development study project. Second, the need for an online Bible with the reading format of printed versions, providing an experience closest to reading on paper, without distractions from advertisements. Third, expanding access to sacred scriptures to places with difficult access.

The Online Bible is a valuable resource for cases where there are restrictions on access to printed versions, situations where you need your Bible but don't have it at hand, as well as to facilitate study and navigation. In many countries with restrictions on religious freedom, printed Bibles may be difficult to find or purchase, even if their possession is not explicitly prohibited. This occurs because there may be regulations that hinder the importation, distribution or sale of religious materials, or because churches and Christian bookstores are discouraged or even prevented from operating openly. That's why the privacy of your access is taken so seriously by this project.
A fundamental pillar of this project, all resources are offered for free, without the need for registration. No product or service will be sold or charged. Being free also means we don't use advertising to monetize the site. We don't use and will never use your data for advertising purposes, nor do we sell information to third parties.
The project is maintained by a team of dedicated volunteers who believe in the importance of access to the Bible. All collaborators work voluntarily, without any compensation, contributing their time and skills to make this project a reality. Hosting and hardware costs are covered by donations from organization members.
